The following events have been provided to help pupils to make informed GCSE Option choices with the support of their parents:

Tuesday 9 January

Parents’ Options Evening, Theatre – information for parents about the process

Wednesday 10 January Thursday 11 January

Assembly for S9, Theatre - information for pupils about the process

Subject Fair, Theatre - pupils will have the chance at lunchtime to visit stalls and talk to teachers about their subjects

Options forms will be emailed to parents after the Subject Fair.

Tuesday 23 January Wednesday 24 January Monday 5 February Thursday 8 February

S9 Parents' Evening (online) – parent/pupil/teacher discussions about progress, with an opportunity to discuss subject uptake Parents' Pastoral Evening (online) Deadline for Options forms to be returned

Support We want pupils to have the opportunity to discuss ideas and give careful consideration to their choices. The following people will provide help and advice: • Mr Robinson, Head of Careers • Subject teachers • Tutors • Heads of House; Mr Docx, Head of Lower School • Dr Hazell, Deputy Head of Sixth Form; Mr Greenwood, Head of Middle School; Mrs Jarvis, Deputy Head (Academic)

In addition, all pupils will have a one-to-one conversation with a senior member of staff to discuss possible Options and any future aspirations.
