U18 netballers got their season off to a cracking start by qualifying for the semi-finals of the IPS Netball Tournament. Elsewhere, U18A and B sides were in control from start to finish in two fantastic wins over JAGS, 24–18 and 23–12, respectively. Player of the Match: Millie Doyle (As) and Maddie Hall (Bs). The U18 sides dominated their fixtures against Claremont Fan Court: Maddie Oakley, Maddie Hall and Elena Rees claimed Player of the Match awards. It was a tighter affair against Highgate, but the 1st XI just pipped the opposition 4–3 in a pulsating match. Daisy Da Costa and Saskia Richards shared the Player of the Match award. Against Sydenham High in the first round of the Sisters in Sport National Cup Plate Competition, U18A played some lovely fast flowing netball to run out deserved winners 30–16. Player of the Match: Jocelyn Robinson. In the second-round match against St Benedict’s, the team dominated from start to finish to win 29–20, seeing them into the third round of the tournament. Players of the Match: Olivia Kenny and Jocelyn Robinson. Compensating for a narrow U18A team loss against City of London Freemen’s, B and C teams scored 23–9 and 18–2 wins respectively, with Maddie Hall and Freya Maxwell awarded Player of the Match in each. Block fixtures against Tiffin Girls saw a clean sweep of victories. As won 33–9, Bs 27–18, Cs 21–11 and Ds 22–21. Players of the match were: Saskia Richards (A), Bella Riad (B), Ruby Drake Doyle (C) and Lola Harrison (D).

U15 hockey girls had a superb first round victory in the Independent Schools Cup against Highgate. The girls played fast attacking hockey and the team cantered to a 9–3 victory. Player of the Match: Thalia Boyle, who scored three fantastic goals. In a classic clash match against Harrodian, the girls came away 4–1 winners with Thalia once again awarded PoM. Some slick hockey against Kew House saw the girls pip the opposition 2–1. Lauren Braithwaite was named IPS Player of the Tournament in the London Tier 3 U16 hockey competition in which the girls defeated Harrodian 3–1.

In action against KCS Wimbledon, 1st and 2nd XI hockey girls came away with two hard fought victories: 2–0 and 1–0. Player of the Match: Daisy Da Costa and Kirsty McMillan, respectively. Against Godolphin and Latymer, the U18As played superb fast-flowing hockey and helped by goalkeeper and Player of the Match Jemima Pugh, defended like trojans in a 2–0 win. U18Bs enjoyed a cracker of a match against KGS winning 1–0. Player of the Match: Rosie Wright.

U17 and U14A hockey teams took on KGS in a brace of exciting fixtures, edging the opposition 3–2 and 1–0, respectively. Camille Marinof and Sarah Kleibergen shared Player of the Match award for the U14A team and it went to Maddie Oakley for U17s. Against Alleyn’s School, U14 hockey girls scored in the initial stages of their game, putting pressure on the opposition throughout to maintain their 1–0 lead by the end. They also enjoyed a 2–0 win over Harrodian. Player of the Match: Camille Marinof.

U14A, B and C netballers made easy work of KGS in fixtures that saw them win 20–4, 16–2 and 15–1 respectively. Against Claremont Fan Court, A and B teams won 12–2 and 13–11. Player of the Match Adelaide Derome and Eleanor Hennity, respectively. In a triangular tournament against Downsend School and City of London Freemen’s School, U14A won both matches 22–4, 15–4.

U15 netballers launched their campaign in the Sisters in Sport National Cup Competition with a 28–13 first round win against local rivals Christ’s School. Eloise Chapplow played an “absolute blinder” and there was outstanding shooting by Mia Clemo-Gibbins and Maya Parry. Elsewhere, U15As ran out comfortable winners in their match against Highgate, 17–7, while a rampant B team cantered to a 17–3 win. Players of the Match were Hannah Lee and Marissa Merxhani, respectively. U15B had further success against St George’s Weybridge with a 22–9 win: Esme Perry joined Marissa as joint Player of the Match. Against Claremont Fan Court, the A team had to work hard for their 15–11 victory, while Bs coasted home 20–6. Players of the Match: Polly Wright (A); Lucy Hawkins (B). At Epsom College, the U15A side won 40–18 with Eloise Chapplow and Maya Parry sharing Player of the Match
